Building Financial Confidence Through Practical Education

Real skills for real financial decisions — no hype, just practical learning that fits your life.

Most people stumble through financial decisions without ever learning the basics. We changed that approach back in 2019 when we noticed how many Australians felt overwhelmed by their money choices. Our programs focus on building genuine understanding rather than quick fixes or complicated theories.

You'll work through actual scenarios — budgeting when income fluctuates, managing debt without panic, planning for purchases that matter to you. We keep group sizes small because financial situations are personal, and cookie-cutter advice rarely works.

Programs That Match Your Schedule

We run programs throughout the year with different formats and focuses. All sessions happen in the evening or weekends because we know you're balancing other commitments.

Foundation Programme

8 weeks

Start here if you're new to managing money or want to rebuild your approach from scratch. We cover budgeting systems that actually work, understanding where your money goes, and building habits that stick.

  • Weekly 90-minute sessions
  • Personal budget review and refinement
  • Practical tools you can use immediately
  • Small group discussions with similar goals

Debt Management Workshop

6 weeks

Debt feels overwhelming when you don't have a clear plan. This workshop helps you map out what you owe, prioritize payments strategically, and build momentum toward becoming debt-free.

  • Create your personalized repayment strategy
  • Understand interest impacts on different debts
  • Learn negotiation approaches with creditors
  • Build emergency reserves while paying down debt

Long-Term Planning Course

10 weeks

Once you've got the basics sorted, this course helps you think bigger. We explore saving for major purchases, understanding investment basics, and planning for life changes without financial stress.

  • Goal-setting that connects to your actual life
  • Investment fundamentals without jargon
  • Risk assessment for your situation
  • Building financial flexibility over time

Next Sessions Start Throughout 2026

We run multiple program cycles each year so you can join when it suits you. Our next Foundation Programme starts in March 2026, with Debt Management beginning in April and Long-Term Planning kicking off in May.

Sessions typically run Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM, or Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM. You pick the schedule that works better for your week.

March 2026

Foundation Programme

Evening sessions starting March 11th or morning sessions from March 14th. Limited to 12 participants per group.

April 2026

Debt Management Workshop

Begins April 8th with flexible evening options. We keep these groups even smaller for more personalized guidance.

How We Actually Teach This Stuff

Financial education fails when it's too theoretical or too complicated. We focus on building skills you'll use regularly, not memorizing terms you'll forget by next week.

Practical Application Over Theory

Every session includes homework — but it's your actual finances, not fake scenarios. You'll work on your real budget, your actual debt, your specific goals. That's where learning sticks.

Our instructors have backgrounds in financial counseling and personal finance, but more importantly, they've helped hundreds of people work through similar challenges. They've seen what works and what doesn't.

Between sessions, you'll have access to review your work and ask questions. Financial decisions don't wait for scheduled class time, so neither does our support.

Small Group Format

We cap groups at 12 people maximum. Everyone gets individual attention, and you learn from others facing similar challenges without feeling lost in a crowd.

Real Document Review

Bring your bank statements, loan documents, and pay slips. We help you understand what you're actually looking at and how to use that information.

Flexible Pacing

Some concepts click immediately, others need time. We adjust based on how the group progresses rather than rushing through a rigid curriculum.

Follow-Up Access

After your program ends, you can attend quarterly check-in sessions for six months. Financial situations change, and sometimes you need another perspective.

What You'll Actually Learn

We break financial management into understandable pieces. Each module builds on the previous one, but you can also focus on specific areas if you're joining with some experience already.

Income & Expenses

Track where money comes from and where it goes. Sounds simple, but most people are surprised when they actually map this out.

Budget Systems

Find a budgeting approach that matches how you think and live. We explore several methods because one size definitely doesn't fit all.

Debt Strategy

Prioritize what to pay off first, understand minimum payments versus strategic payments, and build momentum without burnout.

Emergency Planning

Build a buffer that lets you handle car repairs or medical bills without derailing everything else. Start small and grow it over time.

Goal Setting

Connect spending decisions to things you actually want. Financial planning feels less restrictive when it's tied to meaningful goals.

Investment Basics

Understand fundamental concepts without getting lost in financial jargon. We focus on principles that help you evaluate options yourself.
